    Description

    Primary role:


    As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll be using your background in software implementation and finance to act as a subject matter expert on The Odessa Platform, our Equipment Leasing and Finance software.

    You'll be engaging with customers on software implementations while using your expertise in SDLC/Implementations to guide them on making the best business decisions for their company while utilizing our product.

    You'll also be collaborating and receiving guidance from your Business Architect and work alongside teammates including Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and more.

    Most importantly, you'll be a key member of the larger organisation who will facilitate your growth and success, encourage you to speak your mind, and enable you

    What you will do:
    Analyse a customer's business and translate it into business requirements for the system while providing support to remote colleagues in Bangalore during design, development, and testing phases to see the requirements through to completionUse Business knowledge to assist the client in configuring the Odessa Platform to meet specific business needsUnderstand and describe processes within the business domainConduct user application trainingAssist with design reviews with internal and customer groupsAssist customer in planning and scoping of data migrationAssist with customer functional questions and supportMentor Business AnalystsAssist with onboarding of new team members and growing product and domain knowledge amongst the local team


    EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related majorEducational or professional experience with business and/or accounting 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or other functional roles working on the full spectrum of the Software Development LifecycleExperience implementing Financial Software Experience in the analysis of business requirements in the financial domain (preferably with lease/loan or asset finance experience)

    Experience working with global teamsExpertise in software requirement gathering/writing and design processExperience writing/executing user test casesUnderstands basic client/server and database architecturesStrong customer interaction and relationship management abilitiesIssue & project tracking software experienceBasic SQL knowledgeAbility to travel at key points throughout the implementation processPreferred Qualification:
