    Lavanda is a cleaning service company with an experienced team of professionals, and we believe in every bit of helping to make people's lives easier. We have been running our business in Melbourne for about 8 years. Now we are expanding the business to the Geelong area and looking for an Office Manager to join the team.

    Job description

    We're looking for an office manager who has excellent organizational skills and a personable disposition to keep us thriving. The ideal candidate will have a natural flexibility in handling day-to-day routines as well as surprises. The office manager will provide strong, reliable support for operations by creating procedures and communicating them companywide, managing the business social media pages, performing accounting duties, including invoicing and bookkeeping. This person will also be responsible to lead, mentor and manager a small high performing team of cleaners, setting clear objectives, monitoring their progress and providing feedback, helping us achieve organizational efficiency by nurturing a positive, inclusive work environment.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Tasks the role will involve (not limited to):

    • HR assistance
    • Finance support (credit control, invoices, payments)
    • Health and safety,
    • Onboarding new starters and leavers process,
    • Making cleaner's schedules
    • Scheduling meetings and appointments
    • Making office/customers supplies arrangements.

    Skills Required

    • Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment and all other cleaning materials.
    • Proficient in using Xero and office software such as Microsoft office (Word, Excel).
    • Ability to learn and train others.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Excellent Communication Skills
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
    • Speaking Portuguese is a plus.

    Education and Previous Experience Required

    • 3 years experience as an office manager in Australia and some finance experience is desirable too.
    • Previous experience with Customer Service.

    Working Arrangements

    Full-time hours: 38 per week

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Salary: $73k to 75k per year

    Schedule:

    • 8 hour shift
    • Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30pm
    • Saturday 8:30am to 12pm

    Work Eligibility:

    The applicant needs to have full working rights
    Australian Drive License, Police Check and TFN.

    This adv will be available for 4 weeks until May 11th.
