About the opportunity: Join our newly established practice and small friendly team Here at Bupa Dental Cairns you will be supported to grow and work among a great team, if you are proactive to learn and love all things Dentistry than this is the full-time permanent opportunity for you. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm. Thursday we are open 9:00am - 6:00pm No weekends To learn more about ourbeautiful Dental Practice visit: The heart of the role:
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships by providing excellent customer service to our patients
  • Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
  • Deliver quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
  • Provide instrument sterilisation and infection control solutions
  • Maintain and implement infection control standards and procedures
  • Patient care from entry to the surgery and recall management
    • What you'll bring:
  • 12 months+ experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
  • Skilled at tackling challenges both on your own and as part of a team, while paying close attention to the little things
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about customer service/patient care
  • Maintaining an orderly environment with a knack for systematic approaches
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
