    About the role

    The Corporate Services Assistant role is a varied and interesting position primarily focused on the position of a highquality, onsite experience for visitors and staff to UCAS's premises and the provision of support to a range of corporate activities. Working as part of UCAS's Business Support Team, the Corporate Services Assistant will be responsible for meeting and greeting new colleagues, senior stakeholders, VIPs and other visitors to UCAS and
    supporting various logistical activities to ensure their onsite experience is a positive one. Corporate activities supported by the role will include meetings and events organisation and support (onsite and offsite), internal communications, supporting internal audit follow up actions, risk, resilience, and business continuity activity, organisation wide administrative support and other ad hoc projects. The role requires excellent levels of customer
    service, proactivity, organisation skills and attention to detail.

    The role is office based, ensuring a consistent 'front of house' presence

    Skills, qualifications, and experience

  • Qualified to Level 3 or equivalent in a business administration or customer support discipline, or to be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of work experience.
  • Extensive experience in the provision of 'front of house' services with excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining positive, effective relationships and partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders and customers across all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise changing workloads in a busy, fast paced environment.
  • Experienced in coordinating and managing events/offsite meetings.
  • Experienced in planning ahead and anticipating requirements.
  • Demonstrates a proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Offer excellent levels of customer service at all times and in all situations.
  • Works with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable experience of handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Confident in taking ownership of tasks and ensuring their completion to a high standard.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment as well as individually.
  • IT literate with experience of Microsoft Office and especially Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated, proactive and solution focused.
  • Package

    Salary - £26,000.
