Where you'll be working


Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region.

What you'll be doing


To maintain clean equipment ready for use in NICU and to provide support for nursing staff as directed by Nursing Unit Manager or In-Charge nurse.

To assist in maintaining stock and stores levels in NICU. Ensure adequate levels of non-stock items and notify NUM of any stock that requires ordering.

Selection Criteria:


  • High level customer service skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision and use initiative
  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Willingness to undertake training in maintenance of specialized equipment
  • Ability to liaise with the multidisciplinary team.
