Customer Service Assistant
-
The primary point of contact for customers of our wholesale business:


  • Assistant to accounts with account management and data entry

Customer Service / Wholesale Responsibilities

  • Create a daily production report with any checklists or special requests for dispatch and organise delivery notes
  • Create credit notes for any product or delivery issues and liaise with customers to ensure a satisfactory outcome
  • Update management with any feedback from customers (irregularities or new requests)

Accounts responsibilities

  • Sending out invoices & statements to customers
  • Helping customers with specific invoice enquiries
  • Setting up new customers in ordering system and accounting system (Xero)
  • Following up overdue accounts and liaising with customers to get payments
  • Ad hoc assistance to accounts in Xero with further opportunities for training and basic accounting responsibilities, if desired

We believe that in order to do that we need to understand our customer, how they act and respond and be able to tailor a personalised service to each of them.


Our business has multiple moving parts with customers on one hand and various production departments on the other; the Office Manager needs to be an effective conduit between those moving parts.

They must be proactive and ensure that the right people receive meaningful information to enable everyone to do their job better.


Requirements:


  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an office environment preferably in a similar role
  • Basic knowledge of Xero a plus, but not required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good customer service
  • Able to think quickly and help customers get a positive result

Working arrangements

  • 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Ability to split time between working from home and also the office in Homebush. Minimum 3 days a week working from Homebush
  • Approx. 46 hours work per day, with some flexibility but necessary hours between 67am and 113pm
- $35 per hour
