    Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior - Principal Project Manager with a contaminated land background. The successful candidate will lead and manage projects involving the investigation, assessment, and remediation of contaminated sites, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and delivering high-quality solutions to their clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage contaminated land projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and timeline.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
    • Provide technical expertise in contaminated land assessment, remediation, and management.
    • Oversee the design and implementation of field investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring, and analysis.
    • Evaluate remedial options and develop cost-effective and sustainable remediation strategies.
    • Review technical reports, data analysis, and modeling to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Stay abreast of environmental regulations, guidelines, and best practices related to contaminated land management.
    • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Interface with regulatory agencies and obtain necessary permits and approvals for project activities.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service delivery.
    • Identify client needs and develop innovative solutions to address their challenges.
    • Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
    • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering their professional development and growth.
    • Delegate tasks effectively, provide guidance, and promote a collaborative team environment.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in contaminated land management, environmental consulting, or related field, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects.
    • Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE, PG, CHMM) preferred.
    • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and guidelines, particularly related to contaminated land.
    • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis, modeling, and project management.
    • Ability to travel as required for project meetings, site visits, and client interactions.
