Calling all Project Management Professionals Omni is looking expand our team and would love to hear from Project Managers at all levels to work in the Defence consulting space.

Consultants provide embedded, specialised, knowledge-based services to the Australian Government and industry clients of the Maritime Division.
Consultants are provided to the client on a contractual basis and are responsible for the full execution of the Statement of Work agreed within the contract.
Consultant roles may include Project Management, Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support and the provision of technical expertise.Project Professionals:
Consultants are responsible for the full execution of the Statement of Work agreed within the contract in which they are embedded against.
We are seeking qualified Consultants across the numerous fields of:
- Program Managers
- Project Managers
- Project Coordinator
- Project/Program Support Officer
- Program Management and Reporting
- Risk and Controls Manager
- Strategy Analyst
- Capability Needs Analyst
Primary duties include:
- Provide Program Management Specialist Advice.
- Development, maintenance, and oversight of Program Management Plans.
- Engagement with Capability Management Office and Governance stakeholders.
- Implementation of a Delivery Governance Framework.
- Support development of the implementation plan.
- Assist the development and implementation of a Branch Controls plan to build consistency in implementation across schedules, agreements, risk reporting, scope management, security, record keeping, financial management.
- Conduct analysis of branch controls and develop standardisation plan.
- Provide detail into implementation plan.
- Support to all elements of the Projects
- Defence and/or CASG experience.
QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS
Essential Qualifications
- Hold and maintain a AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance or higher
Desirable Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to maintain a positive and effective stakeholder relationship at all levels.
- Experience in effective communication with technical staff across multiple disciplines
- Strong verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence, present, effective negotiate, and lead and effect change
- Strong written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce clear and concise project documentation and technical reports
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working in Commonwealth, State or Commercial environments
