The Opportunity


Our Client is the dominant player in their marketplace and is part of a franchise group that helps to elevate their staff and keep them at the top of their game.

Due to the upcoming retirement of their long-standing and much-loved Department Head, we are now looking for a new Department Head to come in and take over the reins of this successful department.

With a team of 4 in Property Management servicing 300 properties, their goal is to grow to 400 by June next year, and they are well on their way to reaching this goal.


The Role:


  • Manage a team of 4 with a portfolio of approx. 290 residential properties
  • Ensuring the Department is providing exceptional service to both landlords and tenants.
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Manage escalated issues within the department.
  • Weekly team meetings and monthly one on ones
  • Tribunal preparation and attending if needed
  • Insurance claim preparation
  • Ensure BDM is on track and assist where needed
  • Proven experience as a Residential Property Manager of about 510 years
  • Excellent track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships.
  • Indepth knowledge of the Residential property management Act.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills,
  • Confident performer in leading a team
  • Current Real Estate Certificate/license and a valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of PropertyMe, Agent Box and Flick it over
