    An exciting opportunity for a Program Advisor to be part of a rewarding Innovation Program that plays a key role ensuring CSIRO's Science and Research has impact

    ON programs give research teams the skills and confidence they need to translate their solutions into positive economic, environmental and social impact. ON Prime and ON Accelerate are now open for applications.

    Your role will be the main contact point for innovation program participants and other key stakeholders, including mentors. This is a rewarding opportunity that requires you to provide an empowering and supportive stakeholder experience by effectively using processes and adopting a continuous improvement mindset.

    Your duties will include:

    • Undertaking a coordination role by providing capability and continuity support for delivery of the ON Program and CSIRO's other innovation programs for researchers.
    • Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships and track circular feedback to ensure that the service provided continues to add value to clients and team members.
    • Delivering in-session administration support for virtual delivery and webinars.
    • Providing support for face-to-face delivery of workshops and events, including arranging the venue and catering.
    • Supporting projects to develop and continuously improve innovation practice, tools, processes, and systems.

    Location: CSIRO Sites based in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney preferred
    Salary: AU$87,068k - AU$98,504k plus up to 15.4% superannuation
    Tenure: Specified term until 30 June 2025

    To be considered you will need:

    • Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience in project management.
    • Strong time management skills with the ability to work autonomously, anticipate requirements and priorities, deal with ambiguity, and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
    • Proven ability to investigate underlying issues of complex and ill-defined problems and develop appropriate responses through abstract thinking and using creative solutions.
    • A strong interest in Science and Innovation in Australia and a genuine passion to see great Australian research translate into real world outcomes.
    • A highly creative and inquisitive nature with the ability to fearlessly experiment with new approaches.

    Eligibility
    Applications for this position are open to Australian/New Zealand Citizens, Australian Permanent Residents or you must either hold, or be able to obtain, a valid working visa for the duration of the specified term. Appointment to this role is subject to provision of a national police check and may be subject to other security/medical/character requirements.
    To enter a CSIRO site, CSIRO will require you to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (or show a valid medical exemption from vaccination). If you are unable to meet this requirement, then you must return a negative result on a Rapid Antigen Test (within 48 hours prior to attending site) and wear a face mask whilst on the CSIRO site. These requirements apply if you are attending a CSIRO site as part of a recruitment process.
