    Description

    We are currently seeking to engage a Procurement Continuous Improvement Lead to facilitate change and provide governance to the procurement improvement program for our LPMA (Liberty Primary Metals Australia) business.
    As the Procurement CI Lead, you will utilise your knowledge to review, develop, implement and lead change across procurement improvement processes. You will work within a team of procurement professionals to drive performance and help management achieve the deliverables.

    This role can be based in either Whyalla or Adelaide

    Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining sustainable procurement improvement processes
  • Drive work culture with focus on performance and continuous improvement
  • Coach, mentor and develop team members to enhance capability
  • Design and production of performance reporting
  • Design and develop procurement and supply chain analytics capability and reporting
  • Develop new supply relationships to enhance our supply chain capability
  • Procure and implement supply chain technology and innovations to improve team effectiveness

    • Our ideal team member would have a background in Procurement and experience in handling multiple simultaneous projects. We are looking to speak to people who can demonstrate the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a Commerce/Business/CIPS degree or similar
  • Experience within a large procurement team, preferably within manufacturing, mining or heavy industry
  • Experience in the application of sound financial and data analysis principles
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment, to prioritize competing demands and to focus on delivery of outcomes
  • A flexible team-work approach to tasks and responsibilities
  • SAP experience
