About the Opportunity
Kelly Tillage is looking to appoint an Engineering Manager.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role is responsible for the management of staff within the Engineering department, implementing best-practice CAD and change management processes and procedures, to execute strategic deliverables.

The Engineering Manager will lead continual development and improvement of the Kelly product, while also working closely with personnel from Production, Supply Chain, Procurement and Administration to provide technical support to customers globally.

Specifically, you will:

• Develop and manage bestpractice CAD management processes and procedures;
• Develop close working relationships with global market sales and engineering staff to stay across market trends and requirements;
• Guide the use of fundamental mechanical design processes to optimise design; including weight reduction, improved materials specification and utilisation of FEA analysis tools;
• Maintain bestpractice utilisation of EPDM data management software;
• Set in place CAD workflows providing due diligence for good design and efficient collaboration and approval of all data outputs;
• Manage document approvals from thirdparty manufacturers ensuring all specifications have been understood, approved and controlled;
• Support Market leads with highlevel market specific regulation requirements for our products, risks & liabilities including Patent reviews.
• The role will require regular travel between the Adelaide and Booleroo Centre offices.

Requirements:


About You
A proven performer, you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Structural)
• 510 years' postgraduate experience as an engineering practitioner with experience in a Senior or Lead Engineer role.
• Experience with Solidworks or similar packages.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior staff at all levels of the organisation, suppliers and customers.
• High level of interpersonal skills that foster trust, confidence and cooperation at all levels of the organisation.
• An interest in the agricultural sector.

All applicants must hold Australian or NZ Citizenship, or the capacity to permanently work in Australia.

Applicants must also hold a valid Driver's Licence.
