The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has diverse responsibilities for transport systems and services, infrastructure planning and provision within South Australia.


Duties

The Asset Information Lead is accountable to the Manager, Asset Management for leading a small team responsible for the management of road corridor asset data and related systems to support effective decision making.


The role ensures that the Department's asset data model and asset information strategy are fit for purpose and data practices are governed in accordance with Departmental standards and contractual requirements.


The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and map business and system requirements to enable the implementation, integration or improvement of asset data systems and data management processes to meet contemporary asset management standards and improve asset information outcomes.


Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in computer science, information technology, software engineering or related discipline and/or significant experience in asset information management.


Special Conditions
Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.


Remuneration
ASO7 - $106,512 to $115,137 per annum
