CommBank Health is the dedicated healthcare industry vertical established to provide specialised solutions and service to the Group's healthcare customers.
As well as managing Whitecoat, Australia's leading health directory and digital payments provider, CommBank Health is responsible for designing and implementing strategy, policy and banker capability programs, to ensure the Bank delivers on its objective of becoming the leading provider of financial services solutions to the Australian healthcare industry.
DO WORK THAT MATTERS
Reporting to the Executive Manager - Policy & Performance, the purpose of the role is to grow CommBank Health's market share and brand.
You will do this by designing and implementing how the Group will engage with the various healthcare segments, including medicos, allied healthcare, pharmacy, specialist disability accommodation and seniors living.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDES
- Execute the development and acceptance of the Group Policy Framework across the Group.
- Provide direction and guidance to the Business/Support Units and/or subsidiaries on the Group Policy Framework and policy development, management and governance.
- Draft and review policies and related documents to improve effective decisionmaking, drive simplicity and improve risk outcomes of the group.
- Establish and effectively manage relationships and communications with policy stakeholders to achieve the governance and policy outcomes required.
- Conduct policyrelated analysis and research to drive improvement and the adoption of best practice in governance and policy lifecycle management.
- Develop market leading lending strategies as the business focus evolves into new areas of specialisation.
- Build upon a strong partnership with Risk, including a deep understanding of the credit process with a focus to work collaboratively on key risk themes including regular reporting requirements for both portfolio monitoring purposes and contribution to risk initiatives from an industry perspective.
- Build a network of internal and external contacts to provide industry knowledge and insights for industryfocused presentations, industry reviews and internal reporting documents.

- Capable of sourcing relevant information from a large network of contacts.
- Experience within financial services, risk management, credit risk and healthcare highly regarded
- Excellent presentation skills
