Your opportunity:

Our Digital & Information, Delivery Office has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Project Management Office Analyst to join their team


The Delivery Office ensures Digital & Information projects are positioned to deliver outcomes and is key to ensuring solutions are delivered that are responsive to customer needs, are sustainable in an enterprise environment and provide enhanced Urban Utilities services.

The Assurance, Methods and Standards team plays an integral role in improving the maturity of the project management whilst adhering to the agreed governance, assurance, and project reporting framework.


All Delivery Office Projects will follow the Digital and Information (D&I) Delivery framework which aligns with the PRINCE2 best practice for project management.

It supports the effective management of projects across D&I by outlining:


  • The five stages that all projects progress through regardless of their size or complexity
  • The core processes for supporting effective project governance including assurance, reporting, project change requirements, plus the appropriate management of risks and issues, project resources requirements and benefit management
  • The recommended tools and templates that can be used throughout the delivery lifecycle; and the


Reporting to the Assurance, Methods and Standards Lead, the Project Management Office Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the adoption of best practise Project Management principles across the Digital & Information function.

The Project Management Office Analyst will oversee all project operations such as project reporting, budgets, schedules, document and information distribution, report collation and assurance gating reviews support.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Comprehensive project management experience in assurance, methods and standards across project delivery lifecycles with experience to deal with most project situations and advise project managers.
  • General work experience providing support for the assurance, methods and standards oversight within a Delivery Office that delivers multiple complex ICT projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PRINCE2 project management methodologies and an ability to provide advice and recommendations on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge providing advice on the process of assurance profiling, planning, reviews and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating the benefits of projects and project management methodologies by effectively overcoming objections and influencing at the appropriate level.
  • Demonstrated experience assessing project needs in a systematic, goaloriented manner.
  • Demonstrates tenacity in tracking and monitoring project outcomes, remaining adaptable to changes.
