About the role

Mater Foundation has a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated
Philanthropy Coordinator to join the Philanthropy team. This is a permanent full-time position based in our purpose-built offices in Newstead.


This is a critical role where you will be providing key support to the Philanthropy team in their management of high-value current and future philanthropic relationships.

This position is vital in assisting the team to deepen their collective impact within the community and truly change peoples' lives.


Salary:
Commensurate with experience + superannuation + access to salary packaging (up to $15,900)


What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy you will provide support to the Philanthropy team in their management of high value current and future philanthropic relationships and coordinate activities and functions across the team including:

  • Lead, manage and execute all administrative tasks and event logistics to deliver high quality supporter engagement
  • Support philanthropy specialists with diary coordination, pre and post meeting notes, support the coordination and updating of supporter proposals, drafting of personalised correspondence
  • Undertake comprehensive prospect research, documenting and presenting profiles using public information sources and data base subscriptions
  • Maintain timely and accurate supporter records in the CRM
  • Liaise with supporters and guests at the highest professional level
  • Develop professional relationships with supporters and advocates where appropriate
  • Provide adhoc support to the Director when required

About you
As the successful applicant, you will possess proven high-level administration skills with the proven ability to multitask and be proactive in your work


You will also possess:

  • Experience with event management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience preparing correspondence, presentations and reports
  • Experience managing multiple diaries
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Demonstrated experience within fundraising or a related discipline is desirable
  • Ability to speak Mandarin highly advantageous


Please note this position will require some out of hours work from time to time, such as attendance at fundraising events and related activities.
