About the role
Please note full availability is essential in these roles.

You will be required to work across a roster spanning Monday to Sunday (inclusive), between the hours of 6am through to 2am, completing 8-hour shifts on a 7-day rotating roster.

Actual hours will be discussed at interview.


Salary range:
$24.32-$26.67 (Private Support Services - Group A) per hour plus superannuation & casual loading


What you'll be doing


The Support Services team is a welcoming and friendly team, consisting of many ages and cultures who work collaboratively in a variety of areas, including Housekeeping/Cleaning, Waste Services, Linen Services, Equipment Delivery/Collection/Orderly/Porterage Services.


The purpose of this role is to uphold our exemplary hygiene standards by providing high level cleaning duties, which includes theatre cleaning in addition to general area cleaning.

Please note, theatre cleaning can include the disposal of blood or bloodied material, and/or discarded theatre waste products.


About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:

To ensure our new team member can hit the ground running and contribute immediately, you will have significant experience in Housekeeping/Cleaning or previous hospital cleaning roles.

Food services and Administration experience are not necessary to perform the role.


We are looking for flexibility in your approach and willingness to contribute to the overall success of MPHS, an eager contributor who can prioritise and organise your personal workload, whilst assisting your team to achieve goals.

As you will frequently be around patients, you will be an effective communicator with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
