    Job description

    Embedded Software Engineer / Linux / Golang / Python / Modern C++ / C

    We are working with a global software house that is now looking for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join their development team in Sydney. You will get to work with a dedicated embedded team on a range of innovative product development projects used globally. They have recently won a number of multi-million dollar contracts and are going through a huge period of growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, code and implementation of new software
    • Improve and maintain the existing software platform
    • Implement new software features from concept to delivery
    • Assist with product testing and validation
    • Work with the engineering team to ensure reliable and robust end-to-end system operations
    • Troubleshooting and testing


    You will have:

    • BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience. Particularly interested in Electronic and Communications Systems with emphasis on embedded Linux.
    • Software development experience in one or more of the following; Golang, Python, C++ or C
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in related roles
