    We are seeking a Mid-level full-stack software engineer who will be a major contributor to our team with the passion and drive to help us take our mission "Every expense, complete" to the masses.

    You love solving challenging technical problems, while also having a deep drive to champion continuous improvement of the practices in your team and across the company.

    This position will be mentored by our Software Team Lead and Head of Engineering who between them have more than 20 years of web application and full stack experience.

    It will also give you the opportunity to be a core member of a growing engineering team, helping develop a best-in-class product suite.

    You will work as part of a cross-functional team including Product Managers, QA Engineers, and UX/UI designers to achieve product roadmap goals.

    Skills we'd love you to bring along- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent with 2+ years of backend startup or scale-up technology company- Working experience with React (Typescript), Python, Django and testing tools like Pytest and React Testing Library- Experience working with and managing a cloud provider, such as AWS (we use a variety of services such as ECS, RDS, EC2, Cloud Watch, Elasticache etc.)- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders- Dedicated and resilient individual to support Weel in achieving the company goal of providing our customers with the best product and experience- Experience working with software engineering best practices such as test-driven development and code review processes Bonus Points- Experience with Chalice, Terraform or Cloud Formation Our growing list of Weel perks: Options package - we feel and act like owners because we areBirthday leave and a budget to celebrate you Country-wide team events (and travel budgets for interstate employees) We offer a progressive parental leave policy to ensure that all employees can take the time they need to care for their families - Including fur babies Monthly budgets for team bondingWellness leave (no need to throw a "sickie" – your mental wellbeing is just as important as your physical health)????Study leave and limitless career-growth opportunities????
