Description

City of Parramatta has an exciting permanent Full-Time leadership opportunity working in our Civil Works team. As the Team Leader Civil Works, you will be responsible for leading the team to deliver services that ensure Parramatta's Civil Infrastructure assets are maintained and improved enhancing the appearance of our City

Key responsibilities:

Operate a variety of plant equipment to complete all works.
Mentor staff within the team and undertake on the job training for the team.
Undertake the day-to-day management of staff and their assigned tasks.
Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed.
Ensure completion of all administrative functions.

About You

The successful applicant will have previous experience in leading teams, particularly in the civil industry. As the team leader you will be responsible for overseeing team operations, assigning tasks, planning of works, establishing goals, encouraging open communication and able to distribute information across the team.

Qualifications:

Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent.
MR Truck licence
White Card
Possession of current TCR and IMP traffic controller certificates

What's on offer:

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $73,354 to $80,782 plus 11% superannuation.

This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance & First Aid Allowance
