This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Payroll professional to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The roles offers hybrid working arrangements, a supportive environment, and development opportunities.About the role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager the main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Full-function Payroll processing for Salaried and Award employees
- Calculation and processing of Superannuation and Payroll Tax
- Calculation and processing of backpays, leave entitlements, and employee entitlements.
- Processing of terminations and redundancies
- Interpretation of Modern Awards
- Responding to Payroll related inquiries
- Setting up and onboarding of new employees
- Other ad hoc projects and tasks within the scope of the role
About you:
To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience in the position accountabilities.
- An exceptional eye for detail, time management skills, and ability to work to headlines
- You must be a strong problem solver with a "cando" attitude.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A team player with a positive attitude.
