All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. A NSW Health agency may require further information about the medical contraindication (including but not limited to an Immunisation Medical Exemption form - IM011 form).

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.

Selection Criteria to be Addressed:


  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management and/or Organisational Development or other relevant business degree and/or extensive experience in organisational development and diversity and inclusion and/or workforce planning within a large complex and diverse service industry organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience and success in developing organisational strategies and frameworks relating to leadership development, culture and change management, talent management and acquisition and diversity and inclusion, including Aboriginal workforce and culture.
  • Demonstrated, extensive experience designing, managing and delivering workforce projects and initiatives including the ability to monitor, analyse and evaluate systems and KPI targets sets.
  • Proven ability to maintain a motivated, innovative and flexible demeanour including ability to manage time, a broad workload, to lead a team, and a demonstrated understanding of the policies, legislations and accountabilities associated with the role.
  • Excellent capability to consult and to develop and maintain good rapport with a wide range of stakeholders including, staff, clinicians, the executive and other staff within the WPC Directorate.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write reports, briefs, submissions and planning documents, and to present material confidently and competently to senior audiences.
