About the opportunity

The GIS Lead role sits within the project's Engineering & Assurance Team, reporting to the Digital Engineering and Asset Lead.

This role will support the delivery of the project's digital engineering strategy across the project lifecycle of the Suburban Rail Loop Project.

This role will support the leadership team and provide specialist guidance on GIS frameworks, processes and systems, throughout the project lifecycle.

This role will drive the use of geospatial technology to enable organisational outcomes and support project delivery.

By adopting GIS methodologies, this role will actively work within Rail and Infrastructure Delivery and Contactors, in partnership with key stakeholders including other divisions within SRLA as well as the Department of Transport, Rail Projects Victoria and Rail Operators.

Furthermore, this role will actively collaborate with the wider team to deliver digital engineering data, asset data and traditional drawings management system completions submissions to the Suburban Rail Loop Authority, Department of Transport / Public Transport Victoria, and Rail Transport Operators.
