- Preparation of accounting journals and assistance with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assistance with the monthly payroll process and year-end closing processes
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Processing incoming invoices, maintaining up-to-date vendor records and reconciling vendor statements
- Assisting with the preparation of payment batches and executing payment runs
- Maintaining an organised filing system for all financial documents
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and eagerness to learn
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); familiarity with any accounting software is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Motivated individual with a positive attitude and desire to develop professionally in the field of accounting
