Our Federal Government Client is looking for a
Digital Transformation Lead to provide strategic advice and technical input to support the Client's Senior Adviser in developing a business case for possible future investment in the Commonwealth's digital health infrastructure.
This is a
12-month contract with possible 2x6 month contract extension options, open to
Australian citizens with active AGSVA Baseline security clearance.
As per the Client's flexible work policy, a presence in their Canberra office several days a week would be preferable for face-to-face meetings.
However, options exist for working from the Sydney or Brisbane offices (along with working from home and part-time opportunities).Role Description
- Provide strategic advice and technical input on digital health architecture options and solutions in response to evolving health policy priorities.
- Undertake detailed scoping work including technical specifications, costs, delivery timeframes and risks associated with potential new digital health infrastructure.
- Develop strategic supporting documents to quickly convey complex digital health concepts to policy owners and decision makers.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders for example across the Client's department as well as related/affiliated departments.
- As a senior member of the team, possess the ability to work independently with limited supervision, broadly under the direction of a Senior Adviser and other senior staff as required.

- Overall value for money
Desirable criteria
- Experience in digital health ICT infrastructure design and delivery, along with awareness of Government policy processes, is desirable.
- Experience in supporting business case development for investment purposes (in a public sector or private sector context) is desirable.
