Our Federal Government Client is looking for a
Digital Transformation Lead to provide strategic advice and technical input to support the Client's Senior Adviser in developing a business case for possible future investment in the Commonwealth's digital health infrastructure.

This is a
12-month contract with possible 2x6 month contract extension options, open to
Australian citizens with active AGSVA Baseline security clearance.

As per the Client's flexible work policy, a presence in their Canberra office several days a week would be preferable for face-to-face meetings.

However, options exist for working from the Sydney or Brisbane offices (along with working from home and part-time opportunities).

Role Description

Provide strategic advice and technical input on digital health architecture options and solutions in response to evolving health policy priorities.
Undertake detailed scoping work including technical specifications, costs, delivery timeframes and risks associated with potential new digital health infrastructure.
Develop strategic supporting documents to quickly convey complex digital health concepts to policy owners and decision makers.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders for example across the Client's department as well as related/affiliated departments.
As a senior member of the team, possess the ability to work independently with limited supervision, broadly under the direction of a Senior Adviser and other senior staff as required.

Demonstrated compliance/alignment with the Statement of Requirement
Overall value for money

Desirable criteria

Experience in digital health ICT infrastructure design and delivery, along with awareness of Government policy processes, is desirable.
Experience in supporting business case development for investment purposes (in a public sector or private sector context) is desirable.
