Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Service Designer.

This is a long-term contract role of 6 months with the possibility of multiple extensions up to 12 months, located at our client's office in ACT.

The working arrangements are a hybrid of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Support the planning, facilitation, and analysis of user research activities.
Demonstrate strong analysis skills and the ability to absorb and analyze a range of information sources, including research studies, process diagrams, and technical artifacts.
Support the shaping of actionable insights to inform decisions and recommendations.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate findings and influence decisionmaking.
Design and facilitate workshops with businesses and government stakeholders. Workshops may include codesign workshops, prioritization, research sharebacks, and feasibility discussions.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Experience working with various disciplines to solve problems, identify opportunities for improvement, and progress shared deliverables.
The ability to bring together a variety of lenses (e.g., user experience and technical feasibility) to produce actionable insights.
Demonstrated experience working in a team to plan, conduct, and synthesize user research activities to inform decisionmaking and reforms.

It is desirable if you have:

Knowledge and experience in cross-border trade.
Experience working in agile multidisciplinary teams.
