We have anopportunity for a Credit Officer to join our national Financeteam.
The Finance Team at Hall & Wilcox is a team of 29 that provide financialand management accounting, trust accounting, accounts payable,accounts receivable, banking and practice support functions acrossthe Firm.
Reporting tothe Credit Manager, you will work closely with partners to managetheir debtors and collections.This role will form part ofthe credit control function and will assist with the day to daywork flow of the team.
KeyresponsibilitiesThesuccessful candidate will be responsible for:
managingdebtor collections for the National Insurance sections viacalls and emails;
liaisingwith partners to assist with collection of their clients'outstanding debtors;
resolving clientqueries;
assisting withrectifying unidentified deposits; and
maintenance andimprovement of processes and procedures to control financialtransactions.
Skills andexperience
We would liketo hear from candidates with the following skills andexperience:5+years' experience in credit control, preferably within alaw firm or professional services;
experience with debtorcollections for insurance clients is highlydesirable;
a strongtrack record in reducing debt with a strong focus on cash inthe bank;
gooddecision-making skills when collecting debtors;
theproven ability to build strong relationships across alllevels;
abilityto work autonomously as well as in a teamenvironment;
excellent organisationskills and an ability to plan and prioritise;
excellent verbal andwritten communications;
strongproblem solving skills; and
have ahigh level of enthusiasm and a positive approach.
