About the Role


Monash Health provides health care across south eastern Melbourne, uniquely integrating in one organisation all primary, secondary and tertiary health services, as well as world-renowned research and teaching facilities.


The key purpose of this role is to:

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Pharmacy Leadership Team and other Pharmacy department staff as required
  • Work effectively in a pharmacy team
  • Working within a small administrative support team to ensure all responsibilities are completed in a timely manner

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven administration experience at a high level
  • Excellent clerical/keyboard and computer skills, including demonstrated skills in Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proactive, organised and can work autonomously as well as in a team
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritise work
  • Medical terminology or experience in a health related field
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment

About you

Essential:


  • Victorian Certificate of Education or equivalent;
  • Computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
  • General secretarial and organizational experience; and
  • Has a positive "cando" attitude and displays initiative and reliability
    .

Desirable:


  • Office administration course;
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
