About Us
The Imaging Education Team is a new initiative, designed to support professional development across professions within the Imaging Program.

The team will foster workforce growth and development, and will collaborate with other educator roles across Monash Health, as well as managers, professional leads and other key stakeholders, to develop education and training specific to Monash Health Imaging.


About the Role
The CT Clinical Educator will establish the training, education, and upskilling program for our team of CT Technologists.

If you're appointed, you'll work closely with the Network CT Supervisor and Lead Clinical Educator - Imaging to create a strong foundation for ongoing education, training and credentialing processes in CT.As with all roles in the team, this position will be appointed for an initial period of two years.

The CT Clinical Educator will work full time hours across Monday-Friday.


Key responsibilities:

  • Map the existing capabilities and future education requirements of the CT team.
  • Incorporate evidence and best practice approaches into education curricula.
  • Work closely with the Network CT Supervisor to develop robust credentialing frameworks to support the CT team.
  • Work with the Lead Clinical Educator to develop a suite of education outcome data and measures.
  • Measure and articulate the success of the education program to demonstrate its ongoing value to the health service.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Degree or Post-Graduate Degree in Medical Imaging.
  • Completion of a postgraduate qualification in CT (desirable).
  • Substantial postqualifying experience within clinical settings.
  • Qualification in education and/or training, education delivery, clinical education, or similar (desirable).
  • Experience in developing and delivering education and training, preferably in a tertiary setting (desirable).
