    Woodside is hiring Master Data Accountant experience in Energy Industry to join our client that works on mega projects to be based in Perth, WA.

    Position: Master Data Accountant
    Location: Perth
    Duration: 6 months and potential for extension

    This Master Data Accountant position is a great opportunity to join Woodside's Finance function and support a range of accounting activities. You will work closely with various finance teams through master data creation and governance process.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Working from our state-of-the-art building in Perth CBD, you will work closely with various finance teams. Typical duties and responsibilities will include:
    • Assist the finance business with master data creation, validation and maintenance of costing
    • Work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines;
    • Ensure work is compliant with all statutory requirements, including tax, SOX and audit compliance and Woodside Code of Conduct; and
    • Ensure effective record keeping and audit trail of business records and communications.
    Skills & Experience:
    • To be successful in this role, you will need demonstrated experience in an accounting / finance / bookkeeping capacity.
    • Accounting qualifications are not mandatory, although you may be studying towards an accounting qualification or professional certification. A working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP is of benefit.
    • Master Data Management - creation, validation and maintenance of costing and general ledger master data;
    • SOX activities - SOX control compliance, and SOX control testing support;
    • Cost Accounting - understanding of cost allocation processes
    • Fixed Assets - understanding of fixed asset master data
    • Joint Venture Accounting - understanding of Joint Venture Accounting
