    Applications are currently being accepted for a skilled Mechanical reliability engineer position. This opportunity is available on an ongoing contract through our client.

    Interviews for this role will be conducted in the upcoming weeks.



    The Role:

    This position is with one of the largest mining companies globally, operating on an ongoing contract at our client's site in South Australia.

    It involves a 7 days on, 7 days off FIFO roster, with flights departing from Adelaide airport.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Implementing RCA (root cause analysis)
    • Providing direction to execution and collaborating with discipline engineers and specialists as needed to minimize downtime
    • Assessing and presenting equipment performance data to support Maintenance teams
    • Assessing cost benefits of alternative solutions and developing action plans that align with safety and efficiency requirements
    • Leading continuous improvement projects
    • Emphasizing strong safety principles
    • Applying extensive knowledge in defect elimination across various equipment


    Experience and Background Required:

    Essential qualifications and experience for this role include:

    • Proven expertise in grinding, flotation, and concentrated leaching circuits
    • Five years of relevant experience in heavy industries such as mining, oil & gas, power, and energy
    • Hands-on experience with equipment like pumps, pipes, valves, grinding mills, thickeners, conveyors, vibrating screens, tanks, agitators, hydraulic systems, and filter presses
    • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent trade experience supporting the role
    • Proficiency in SAP & Microsoft Office systems
    • Background in maintenance and/or reliability engineering in Fixed Plant Processing in a mining setting
    • Strong focus on safety, environmental responsibilities, and community engagement
