Report to:
CFO or other Development Lead as assigned on a project basis
Subordinates:
None, this is individual contributor role
RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Support business development efforts in evaluating new business opportunities (Greenfield, M&A etc)
b. Develop 3- statements Financial Models from scratch for project financing.
c. Determine key valuation parameters, perform sensitivity analysis necessary to evaluate project economics (IRR, NPV, Return Multiples etc)
d. Determine project debt sizing and modelling debt covenants (DSRA, DSCR, LLCR etc)
e. Work with consultants to update price projections in Financial models for the wholesale electricity and green products on a periodic basis
f. Work with wholesale market team to formulate new PPA and green products
g.
Analyse and evaluate business performance against key performance indicators and quantify variances against budget, including any ad-hoc analyses as requested by the Management.
h. Support in the negotiation of key project agreements and coordination of due diligence during financial closei. Support the team with the preparation of Budget and Investment Memos for Management/Board Approvals
j. To Keep abreast of the Market, Legal and Regulatory developments that has an impact on the renewable energy sector.
k. Prepare and coordinate regular updates and progress reports to Management
REQUIREMENTS
1.
Education
- Good Degree in Business Management/Finance/Engineering
2.
Experience
- Ideally at least 5 years in the Electricity/Renewable Energy Industry
- Knowledge of Accounting and Business Valuation concepts
- Strong Financial Modelling skills and knowledge of Project Finance concepts
- Experience with data analytics and working with large data sets
- Experience with managing the M&A Transaction Negotiation and Closing Process
- Good understanding of the commercial and technoeconomic aspects of Power projects

Salary:
Up to $120,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
