- Undertake nursing care in accordance with legislation
- Deliver evidence based nursing care
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and (AINs) to deliver patient care
- Proactively assess the perioperative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient
- Complete all required documentation in accordance with local and National Policies
- Minimum 2 years' Scrub/Scout experience in an acute perioperative environment (Ortho/Urology preferred)
- Working with Children check
- Bachelor of Nursing (Science) or equivalent
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in relevant speciality (desirable)
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team

If you are successful, you will receive a salary as per Healthscope VIC Nurses and Midwives Agreement for years of nursing experience ranging between $35.33 to $47.25 per hour as a Registered Nurse
