A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Perioperative Services Manager to lead our Perioperative team.

If you possess the ability to collaborate seamlessly within a multi-disciplinary team, deliver impeccable service quality and clinical excellence within allocated resources, all while adhering to regulations, then we invite you to consider this role.

We represent a leading private healthcare establishment in North Melbourne, VIC. They currently operate across 5 theatres across most specialties including Urology, Gynaecology. Orthopaedics, ENT, General and Maternity services.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide visionary ward leadership in alignment with hospital strategy, operations, budget, and business goals.
  • Guide unit operations for efficient evidencebased nursing care delivery.
  • Manage resources adeptly, ensuring toptier customer service.
  • Contribute to hospital expansion via marketing and clinical forums.
  • Mentor less experienced nurses, engage in patient care.
  • Collaborate within the healthcare team, uphold protocols.
  • Drive quality improvements, ensure safety compliance.

Requirements:


  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA Registration.
  • Post Grad Certificate in related Perioperative nursing
  • Have a thorough understanding of ACORN, sterilisation and quality standards
  • Proven track record in achieving performance targets.
  • Skillful in consultation, advisory, and facilitation.
  • High computer literacy, MS Office proficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • 3+ years as Senior Nurse in management.
  • Dedicated to high clinical standards and customer care.
  • Thrives in cohesive, teamfocused settings.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation.
