The Role
Black Star Pastry is thriving, having just moved into our new, purpose built Kitchen HQ in Alexandria, and we're also preparing for an exciting period of growth. Our team of masterful Pastry professionals is looking to fill two vacancies - one for a Chef de Partie to lead our Savoury section, and the other for a Savoury Chef work alongside them producing our beautiful savoury offerings.
These are full-time opportunities suited to chefs experienced in a production kitchen environment.

Our Business
Black Star Pastry opened its first boutique patisserie in Newtown in 2008 and since then we have grown into an institution with four stores across Sydney and two in Melbourne.
We are most famous for our Strawberry Watermelon Cake which has become a social media sensation, with the New York Times declaring it "the world's most instagrammed cake."
