Venues NSW has the responsibility and privilege of managing our city's original home of sport, the Sydney Cricket Ground and opening later this year, the New Allianz Stadium will become Australia's newest and best stadium, adding to the Venues NSW family of Stadia.

We have an exciting opportunity for a client focussed Technical Support Officer to join our ICT team, in a permanent role based in our new offices in Sydney's new Allianz Stadium.


The Technical Support Officer provides broad-ranging Tier 1 helpdesk ICT support to users utilising a range of skills and experience to troubleshoot and resolve issues of moderate complexity across the organisations' ICT environment.

Daily duties will have you engaging directly with internal and external clients.

The client-facing nature of this role requires that oral and written communication skills are of utmost importance, as is the ability to get "hands-on" when required.

The ideal applicants for the role will have the following skills & qualifications:

  • A minimum qualification of a Certificate IV in Information Technology
  • 12 months experience in a previous helpdesk position
  • Experience working with Windows server 2012, 2016, 201
  • Experience with Exchange server 2016 & Exchange Online
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office 36
  • Windows 10/11, Microsoft Intune, Experience with Active Directory administration
  • Understanding of Group Policy Management
  • Software installation, hardware installations and repairs
  • Print service administration
  • Mobile device support including IOS & Android
Applicants will need to be willing to be flexible and work some weekend event days as required.
