    The Company
    Our client is a technology driven enterprise involved with advanced polymer materials to deliver class leading performance. Their products are primarily used within the M&E sector and are often specified for use in areas of high traffic, high value assets and green buildings.

    Shift Times:
    Monday-Friday: 8am - 4pm

    Duties and responsibilities:

    This is a role that will give the right person an opportunity to make a difference, by producing products in a clean and safe environment.

    • Train to manage a team of 2-3 staff members
    • You will be engaged in the extrusion and moulding of products that meet Australian and European quality standards
    • Conducting die setting tooling changes
    • Performing machine shut down and start up's, along with trouble shooting and problem solving
    • You will provide input into continuous improvements that lead to an excellent customer experience


    Skills and Requirements:

    • Plastic manufacturing background is essential
    • Min 2 years of extrusion operating experience
    • Training is provided if you have experience in other types of extrusion or machine operating experience
    • Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated tasks
    • Needs to be physically fit to stand on their feet all day and lifting up to 25kg+
    • Enforce all safety and quality processing procedures
    • Forklift license preferred but not essential
    • Be Self-motivated, resilient and bring a positive attitude
    • Good mechanical aptitude
