About the role
Location:
Dandenong South, Victoria
Hours
8 hours each day
(Rotating shifts e.g. 1st week (Morning), 2nd week (Afternoon) and 3rd Week (Night)
Pay
$ 33.50/hr - $ 38.50/hr
About the job
- Ensure that the machine that is being operated is in a safe working order.
- Operate the log oven/extrusion press and pullers (on and off).
- Monitor the press schedule and prepares billet oven and press accordingly.
- Ensure that the metal is safely being transferred from press to pullers and then onto cooling table.
- Documents all orders extruded onto press report and enters everything into system on the computer.
- Training will be provided to those who has experience in machine operating with no extrusion metal process experience.
About YOU
- Mechanically inclined and has at least 2 years of experience in machine operating.
- Keen to learn and be trained.
- Demonstrated ability to receive, understand and follow instructions and learn quickly.
- Excellent hand and eye coordination.
- Meticulous attention to details.
- Physically fit.
- Can work on a rotating roster shift (per below details)
