- Assist with new business and renewal processes, including drafting terms, binding cover, producing policy documentation, and other administrative tasks requested by Account Directors.
- Aid in managing financial obligations, especially handling debtors to ensure timely premium receipts for settlement to insurers.
- Maintain company profile with brokers and insurers, developing and sustaining strategic relationships in key markets.
- Collaborate with Manager, utilize data from Continuing Professional Development Plan to identify and plan activities for personal development within the initial 12 months.
- Ensure underwriting quality, compliance with delegated authority, underwriting procedures, and policy administration.
- Prepare documentation following company service and compliance procedures.
- Contribute to team efforts for compliance with specified business management processes.
- 3-4 years experience in General Insurance
- Thorough knowledge of the Insurance industry and general insurance
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills with key decision-makers internally and externally.
- Strong planning, organizational skills, with initiative, drive, enthusiasm, ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Team player demonstrating credibility and trust-building ability.
- Tier 1 Insurance qualification (or working towards it)

We are looking for an Account Executive to join the Australasian team at Richard Oliver Underwriting Managers.
Richard Oliver Underwriting Management is involved in distributing products and services to Willis Towers Watson and third-party brokers in Australia, as well as managing products and facilities for the Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) business.
This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our underwriting responsibilities for Crime, Accident & Health, and Specialist Liabilities portfolio, which includes general liability, CPI, and recall insurances. It involves supporting underwriting functions for these business classes, offering a diverse and exciting opportunity for skill expansion.
