JOB TITLE: LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Logistics Coordinator ensures timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet contractual requirements and project schedule requirementsIssuing, handling, manifesting and management of materials across a large scale project in the offshore sector, facilitating movements of materials to coincide with schedule requirement for most cost effective movement, considering all logistical facets of operation and scheduled/unscheduled offshore operationsCommunicating with suppliers to ensure materials are packed and delivered according to Company procedures. Communicating and documenting any non-complianceManaging non-compliant materials and personnel travelling offshoreLiasing with and supervising of, movement of personnel (company personnel, sub-contractors etcetera) from point-of-hire to offshore facility and returnLiaising with internal and external stakeholders where requiredSupervising subordinate members and sub-contractors performing logistical work scopes, ensuring safe and efficient operations in the best interest of the company and clientsSupervising logistics teams, ensuring safe loading and unloading of company and sub-contracted cargo at onshore locationsSupervising material and equipment deliveries informing Management of shortfalls of equipment and packaging complianceReviewing and supervising the performance of third party service providers in relation to the projectReviewing and maintaining material receiving reports against shipping documents to verify that material has been received, initiating follow-up actions when requiredReporting on all Materials and Logistic matters to the project team, including weekly and monthly summary reportsSupply chain expertise and support to the teamControl of the stores and consumables to support the projectStaging of materials and equipment Conduct routine inspections and stock take of materials stored in various onshore facilitiesWorks as part of the readiness and execution team

The postholder is expected to adhere to the Golden Rules of Safety (transitioning to 'The 9 Lifesaving Rules in 2020) and the Petrofac Values.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Experience in supporting offshore operations.Experience in supervising sub-contractors or subordinatesTrack record of coordinating all logistics and materials disciplines associated with the support disciplines necessary to facilitate an offshore operation.Knowledgeable in the complexities associated with marine chartering. Ideally, 10+ years' experience in a similar logistics/supply chain operations role, preferably in an oil and gas environment Accuracy/attention to detailPerformance drivenAbility to propose, and obtain buy in to, a compromise solution, in instances where conflicts of interest arise.Ability to easily communicate with external stakeholders and subcontractorsFeel confident in their ability to challenge any plan, or existing condition
