About the Opportunity


The Business Solutions Manager is responsible for leading the planning, delivery and execution of Information Technology (IT) operations to deliver high quality, integrated services and systems support.


The Business Solutions Manager is responsible for the leadership and performance management of the IT team in the delivery of critical services.

This includes ensuring best practice for IT Service Management (ITSM) in compliance with government and agency policies, standards and guidelines.


The Business Solutions Manager will be required to provide strategic advice and direction to key stakeholders, internal and/or external to government as required, will contribute to significant key projects, monitor and manage IT contracts, produce analytical business reports and implement continuous improvement within IT operations.


About the Business


Consumer and Business Services (CBS) employs around 200 staff and our primary purpose is to facilitate business, protect consumers and record life events.

CBS currently comprises eight branches, with two points of executive oversight.


CBS constitutes a large part of South Australia's business/consumer regulatory system and is the regulator for many businesses and professions.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
