    Description
    Fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing architecture practice of approximately 30 staff. This role ensures the successful management of project finances and is pivotal in supporting business operations with day-to-day finances. You will be responsible for supporting the Project Leads across all projects to ensure monthly and annual reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

    Duties & Responsibilities
    • Preparation of monthly invoicing
    • Preparation of any additional documentation required by Clients to support monthly invoice claims
    • Support Project Leads and Financial Controller in ensuring all client agreements are executed and that invoicing, and payment terms are understood to ensure prompt and smooth Project invoicing
    • Assist Project Leads in identifying and preparing variations
    • Setup and maintain projects and phases in BQE for new and existing projects
    • Assist Project Leads in the setup and maintenance of Project Budgets and resourcing to ensure accurate reporting of resource allocations
    • Assist the Financial Controller in the maintenance of project forecasting data via regular liaison with Project Leads
    • Maintain project fee trackers ensuring subconsultant fees are reconciled and preparation of monthly subconsultant accrual journals
    • Preparation of monthly Project Profitability reports as part of month end accounting function, including analysis of project performance and identifying project financial risks
    • Ensure timesheets are completed on a weekly basis and assist the Accountant in reconciling payroll-related timesheet items
    • Assisting Project Leads with project financial reports as required
    • Debtor management and credit control.
    Skills & Qualifications
    • Good knowledge and experience in general ledger reconciliation
    • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and accounting software experience
    • Demonstrated experience in ERP systems
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with high attention to detail
    • Qualifications in accounting/business preferred
    • Strong numerical and analytic skills
    • Experience within architecture, construction or property
