About the role:

An exciting opportunity exists for an Associate Data Analyst to join our Research and Analytics team.

Operating within Strategic Marketing, Research and Analytics is focused on providing enabling products and services that enhance decision making and improve Kinetic IT's strategic and competitive position.

We are looking for a Data Analyst with Power BI skills to join a dynamic team that supports a range of critical business processes, including Customer Development, Strategic Alliances, Product Development and Marketing.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the planning and facilitation of research activities, undertake desktop research &identify knowledge gaps for further investigation.
- support and facilitate research engagement and fulfilment activities with both internal business units and external suppliers (i.e., utilise subscription services)
- undertake targeted research activities providing analysis and recommendations
- establish, support, and maintain Power BI environments (e.g. dataflows, datasets and reports)

  • Collect, cleanse, and organise data from multiple sources
  • Create functional yet appealing visualisations through BI dashboards and reports
  • Deploy reports and dashboards to the business
  • Provide decision support through analysis, visualizations and advice
  • Maintain and improve existing inhouse solutions
  • Create and maintain work instructions and technical documentation

About you:


  • Analytical thinking and creative problem solving.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment whilst maintaining a high level of work ethic
  • Experience with the Excel, MS Power BI is essential, with additional skills in Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, and Parse Hub desirable.
  • Experience within ICT Managed Service Delivery, Marketing or Research is desirable
  • Good customer relationship management and communication skills
