About the role

About you
You'll bring a confident, collaborative and solution focused approach. A sense of humour will add to your resilience and ability to lead your team and help them grow. With a wealth of up-to-date IR/ER knowledge to share you'll support a cohesive service experience to the organisation.

Along with sharing the MercyCare values you'll have:

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Employment Law or a relevant discipline
Extensive experience in an IR/ER specialist role advising on key issues and practices, as well as managing complex employee relations matters
Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of employment legislation, industrial awards/agreements and Enterprise Bargaining
In depth knowledge of employment contract management, workplace investigations, performance management coupled with excellent research, analytical and reasoning skills
Experience in team leadership is ideal but not required if you have the skills to step up
Extensive coaching and business partnering experience
Demonstrated initiative and ability to selfmotivate to achieve timely outcomes
Experience within a large complex organisation ideally in the nonforprofit sector is preferred
Driver's Licence
National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
