    Senior Manager Production and Content Operations - North Melbourne - Permanent

    They are a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving health outcomes through authoritative, practical, and independent medical guidance. They are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead their Production and Content Operations team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for:

    • Overseeing the production team, ensuring efficient content management and digital publishing workflows.
    • Collaborating with the Publishing Director to develop and implement strategic publishing initiatives.
    • Managing the content development schedule, coordinating releases across various teams.
    • Ensuring the quality and timeliness of content migration into the Content Management System (CCMS).
    • Leading cross-functional communication to drive seamless digital publishing.
    • Identifying and implementing opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
    • Managing and motivating a team of production and editorial professionals.

    To be successful, you will need:

    • A graduate qualification in health sciences or information management (preferred).
    • Qualifications in editing, publishing, or project management (highly desirable).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels.
    • Strong computer literacy with expertise in content management systems, metadata, and digital publishing technologies.
    • Proven experience in managing teams and leading projects.
    • At least 5-8 years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare publishing industry.
    • A broad understanding of the healthcare sector and its terminology.
    • A meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
