About Strategy and Culture

The University's Communications and Marketing function provides strategic, advisory and operational services to support the academic mission and the University strategy.

It fosters a culture of best practice and collaboration across the University's communication and marketing teams and stakeholders and uses data-driven insights to inform decision-making across the University.


About the Role
One of the University's engagement objectives is to prioritize offshore markets.

This newly created role will work closely with the Chancellery International, Student, Research, Alumni, and Donor Marketing Communications teams to ideate and design opportunities for engaging with key initiatives and events in offshore markets.

You will support this mission by producing innovative content such as targeted video content, brochureware, presentations, thought leadership pieces, newsletters, and website destination pages.


You will produce compelling graphics, imagery, and video for paid social and digital campaigns, as well as other integrated marketing touchpoints to reach the offshore target audience.

You will be responsible for driving strong performance outcomes and ROI on digital and social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital media platforms.


Responsibilities include:

  • Write, edit and proofread copy for paid social and digital media campaigns and other integrated marketing touchpoints in line with approved campaign plans and strategies
  • Contribute to the development of content strategies and subsequent execution and optimisation of campaigns
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure accuracy of content and individual business outcomes are achieved

About You

To be successful in this role, you should be creative, collaborative, and possess a proven track record of high-level experience in filming/photography and Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills, are crucial to building long-term stakeholder relationships. Additionally, you should be a problem solver and able to provide insights to the team and other stakeholders. You will also have:

  • A degree with relevant experience; or extensive experience and broad knowledge of the filed; or and equivalent combination of relevant professional experience and/or education and training
  • Demonstrated experience in producing content for integrated marketing campaigns with a key focus on digital channels
  • Demonstrated experience interviewing talent to produce engaging video content
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of various social media platforms and their respective audiences and how they can be best used to achieve organisational goals
  • Demonstrated experience working with research, creative and media agencies to drive mutually beneficial outcomes
  • To ensure the University continues to provide a safe environment for everyone, this position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check._
