We have an exciting opportunity for an internal Communications Specialist to join a multinational organisation based in Melbourne CBD for a 12 month contract.


The Role:

A role for a self-motivated, ambitious and passionate professional who has the ability to deliver results fast.

You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams and key stakeholders across the organisation, offering support in the following areas:

  • Develop relationships with operating sites to identify content opportunities and feed these into the content calendar.
  • Develop and deliver written and digital content for use across various platforms, including intranet, website, community newsletters and advertorials.
  • Create, coordinate and deliver highquality digital content (e.g. videos, infographics) for use across external and internal digital channels.
  • Coordinate photo and video shoots on sites as required to assist with content development and delivery.
  • Coordinate the production of other communications materials, such as fact sheets and brochures.
  • Encourage leaders to promote published content on social channels.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of information on these channels to ensure they remain up to date.
  • Assist in the monitoring and reporting on social and traditional media.

About You


You will be an ambitious multi-tasker with proven experience in developing and implementing communications and media strategies for internal and external audiences within a large corporate environment.

You will possess an expert and creative flare for professional written material which will demonstrate a strong understanding of corporate goals and direction.


Skills/Qualifications

  • 3 5 years experience in PR and/or Media and Communications within a large corporate environment
  • Mature thinker with the ability to work Autonomously and works well under pressure
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills
  • A genuine "can do attitude"
  • Strong team engagement and collaboration skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
