Due to ongoing growth, we are currently recruiting a motivated and qualified Plant Maintenance Fitter to join our Maintenance team.

As a Plant Maintenance Fitter, you will have a good understanding of preventative and breakdown maintenance and would assist with all maintenance work carried out within our Manufacturing facility based in Yatala, QLD.

Our facility has a wide range of machinery including but not limited to CNC's, Welding Equipment and Compressors.

Responsibilities Include.

Liaise with the Maintenance Manager to coordinate maintenance and repair work.
Identifies faults and performs breakdown repairs to minimise machinery downtime.
Assists in the scheduling and monitoring of regular servicing/maintenance work on machinery.
Ensuring all backup equipment is serviced and ready for use.
Monitors the use and inventories of maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering as required by the Maintenance Manager
Developing and fostering ongoing working relationships with counterparts from other departments to ensure the prioritisation of maintenance activities are balanced across site.
To supervise (when required) contractors engaged and ensure works are carried out to the highest standard.
