Seeking a
Lead Planner to join our Project Services team. The role is offered on a full time permanent basis in Perth CBD.


Reporting to the Planning Manager, the position is initially required as a member of a project team on a large secured project and thereafter in the management and execution of general planning responsibilities for the business.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following deliverables:


  • Compile a basis of schedule
  • Establish baseline plan in P6 and/or MS project
  • Manage the schedule change register
  • Manage regular progress reporting
  • Ensure that queries from internal and external stakeholders are managed, providing high level technical knowledge regarding planning and scheduling
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring that project teams are supported to accomplish project goals
  • Monitor labour requirements and usage within work breakdown structures and report on potential concerns
  • Highlight and monitor any effects of variations or delays
  • Ability to prioritise and schedule complex and variable processes that require frequent adjustment to meet changing needs
  • Mentoring of junior planning resources

You will have:


  • At least 8 to 10 years proven experience in a similar role in an EPC or EPCM environment
  • Advanced level Primavera P6 and Excel competency
  • Demonstrated capability across Critical Path Method (CPM), scheduling, resource loading, progress measurement, Scurves and earned value methodologies
  • Demonstrated understanding of budgeting, cost control, planning and analytical processes
  • Highly developed relationship building and partnering/networking skills as well as high levels of resilience and persistence
