General Description of the Role


The National Trade Activation Manager is responsible for designing and executing a range of BTL marketing activations for the Off-Premise and E-commerce Channels.

In the highly competitive Spirits and RTD landscape we need to make sure that our portfolio of brands turns up in the most compelling way to drive purchase.

You will be part of a thee person award winning Trade Activation team and a senior thought leader in shopper marketing excellence.

The role will be responsible for optimal delivery of key activations across all National & State Customers - eg BWS, Liquorland, LMG, State Independents etc.

In addition, the role will manage budget tracking, agency management, procurement and general team admin.


Key Responsibilities and Activities

Shopper Activation Program - Execute Off Premise programs to drive optimal shopper engagement, commercial returns for Campari and our Customers.

  • Develop best POS suite to deliver on path to purchase strategy for BTL activies in Off Premise
  • Implement shopper activation program for Off Premise (eg Win in Stores, GWP, Value packs)
  • Source optimal collateral to ensure OFF Prem activations are Delivered in Full on Time (DIFOT)
  • Continually seek to improve back of house systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Agency & Procurment Management

  • Manage external stakeholder relationships with national agencies and suppliers
  • Deliver improved efficiency to projects and bottom line

Budget Management

  • Manage budgets within allocated funds
  • Including processing of Supplier Invoices in a timely manner for improved P&L

Activity Planning & Evaluation

  • Facilitate pre and post evaluations on key initiatives

Relationship Management

  • Collaborate & manage internal stakeholder relationships across sales, marketing, finance and supply
  • Coaching support for the Trade Activation Executive

NPD Go To Market

  • Support best in class below the line launch executions that help deliver go to market plans

Field Engagement

  • Support field Call Cycle content across Consumer Marketing and Category Team
  • Trade Visits to maintain relevance, exposure to market, challenges & trends

Experience Required

  • Relevant experience and proven track record of success in marketing/ shopper led position
  • Degree in Marketing or a Business discipline preferred
  • Proven experience in Trade Marketing, State Activations
  • Strong ability to implement solutions to drive commercial results
  • Passion to create, develop and implement brand activities, measure ROI
  • Outstanding planning & interpersonal skills
  • Posess strong financial acumen
  • Capability to engage & influence key stakeholders
  • Strong ability to work under pressure, multi task and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage a project involving multiple stakeholders to achieve results
  • Strong presentation skillset
